So, who am I anyway?

I'm Rob Shelvey, born June 10th 1972, Woodnesborough, Kent England.

I thought it would be nice to create a website for all the Shelveys around the world, so here it is. Below is the essential personal web waffle that everyone puts on their websites, followed by some pictures of me.

I have worked in the IT department of a large global company for the past 10 years or so doing a bit of everything including Operations, Comms, Help Desk, Systems Analyst, PC Support, Desktop Engineering, and I'm now specialising in Mobile Computing (Remote access, PDAs, Mobile phones and such like.)

I live in Kent, England with my girlfriend Jennifer, 2 cats (Bubba & Howard), and a million tropical plants.

I have been playing guitar for about 10 years, and I have a very varied taste in music (Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Thrash, Classical, Reggae, Funk etc. pretty much everything other than Opera actually).

I Also enjoy travelling, especially to warm climates, we've been all over Australia and the Caribbean
In the last few years we have fallen in love with Carriacou, a small island in the Grenadines near Grenada.
